The Short Version

Some links on ReviewsAlly are affiliate links. If you click one of those links and complete a qualifying purchase, subscription, trial, signup, or other action, ReviewsAlly may receive compensation from the provider or affiliate network.

ReviewsAlly does not add a separate fee to your purchase for using an affiliate link. The provider controls its own pricing, taxes, discounts, renewals, and checkout terms.

A commercial relationship is not evidence that a product is better. Pricing claims, test results, limitations, comparisons, and recommendations should still be supported by the research behind the page.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a link that can identify ReviewsAlly as the referring publisher. If a reader completes an eligible action after following that link, the company or affiliate network may pay ReviewsAlly a commission or referral fee.

Compensation models can differ. Depending on the program, a publisher may be paid for a purchase, paid subscription, qualified signup, lead, trial, or another agreed action.

Not every company mentioned or reviewed on ReviewsAlly necessarily has an active affiliate relationship with us.

How We Identify Commercial Links

ReviewsAlly aims to make commercial relationships understandable without requiring readers to decode technical language.

Pages containing commercial recommendations may include a disclosure near the beginning of the content or close to the relevant recommendation. Affiliate calls to action may route through ReviewsAlly tracking URLs before sending the reader to the provider.

On the technical side, affiliate and other compensated outbound links are intended to be marked with appropriate link attributes such as rel="sponsored nofollow noopener".

How ReviewsAlly May Make Money

ReviewsAlly may generate revenue through affiliate programs and other commercial relationships connected to products or services covered on the site.

Depending on the arrangement, compensation may include:

• commissions on purchases or subscriptions;
• referral or lead fees;
• payments for qualifying trials or signups;
• recurring or revenue-share commissions;
• other clearly identified commercial arrangements.

Compensation structures can change and may differ between companies, products, plans, countries, or affiliate networks.

Commercial Relationships and Editorial Independence

Affiliate compensation is a source of revenue. It is not a substitute for evidence.

A provider having an affiliate program does not prove that it is faster, safer, cheaper, easier to use, more private, or a better fit for a particular buyer. Those conclusions should come from the research, testing, documentation, pricing, limitations, and other evidence relevant to the comparison.

Commercial relationships can affect which purchase offers are available to display, whether a provider can be monetized, and how calls to action are presented. They should not turn a provider claim into a ReviewsAlly finding or erase a material limitation from a review.

Companies do not purchase favorable test results or guaranteed positive conclusions through an affiliate relationship.

Products We Purchase or Test

ReviewsAlly may purchase subscriptions or products with its own funds when hands-on testing is appropriate for the category. We may also use trials, demos, account access, public research, or structured verification when those methods better match the scope of the review.

Receiving affiliate compensation after publication does not retroactively turn a test into provider-sponsored research. Likewise, having an affiliate relationship does not mean a product was purchased, tested, or used unless the page specifically documents that work.

Where a provider supplies free access, a product, a discount, or another material benefit specifically for editorial evaluation, that relationship should be disclosed when relevant to how readers evaluate the coverage.

Sponsored Content and Paid Placements

Affiliate commissions are different from a company paying specifically for an advertisement, sponsored article, or paid placement.

If ReviewsAlly publishes sponsored content or accepts a paid placement, the commercial nature of that content should be clearly identified. Sponsored content should not be presented as independent hands-on research when it is not.

Payment for advertising does not give an advertiser the right to rewrite unrelated editorial findings elsewhere on ReviewsAlly.

Prices, Discounts, and Offers

Providers control their own pricing. Prices, discounts, coupon availability, taxes, billing periods, introductory offers, renewal terms, and regional availability can change after a ReviewsAlly page is published.

Where pricing is material to a review, we aim to distinguish between an advertised effective monthly price and the amount actually charged for the billing term, and between introductory pricing and renewal pricing when that information is available.

Always verify the final price and terms on the provider’s checkout page before purchasing.

Not Every External Link Is Commercial

ReviewsAlly also links to documentation, research, publications, company policies, technical sources, author profiles, and other third-party pages for editorial reasons.

An external link should not be assumed to be an affiliate relationship merely because ReviewsAlly links to it. Commercial links are handled separately from ordinary editorial references.

Your Choice as a Reader

You are not required to use a ReviewsAlly affiliate link. Readers can visit a provider directly, compare other sources, or choose another product entirely.

Our role is to give you useful evidence and context for the decision. The final buying decision remains yours.
